Ephesus SDA Columbus, Ohio The Ephesus SDA Church exists to prepare people for the second coming of Christ. Adventists are among the believers who look forward to that day.

Adventists believe in the Trinity - the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit--make up one God. They made salvation possible when Jesus, the Son, came to earth as a baby in Bethlehem and lived a sinless life in accordance with the Father's will. When Jesus was crucified for the sins of the people of the world and arose from the dead on the third day, victory was won for everyone. When He returned to heaven following the resurrection, Jesus left the Holy Spirit to serve as our Comforter and Counselor. He promised to return to earth a second time to complete His plan of salvation and take His people to heaven. Adventists believe that God is concerned with the quality of human life, and that everything--the way we live, eat, speak, think, treat each other, and care for the world around us--is a part of His plan. Our families, our children, our jobs, our talents, our money, and our time are all important to Him.

Good Morning To God’s Family!

DAILY NUGGET

Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. Matthew 24:35. (KJV)

A Divinely Inspired Book: The Book That Endures

Kingdoms rise and fall, human philosophies change, and earthly achievements eventually fade. Yet God's Word remains unshaken. Despite centuries of opposition, Scripture continues to reveal truth, transform lives, and point humanity to Jesus Christ. What God has spoken, time cannot erase and human power cannot overthrow.

The enduring power of Scripture reminds us where true security lies. Everything built upon human wisdom is temporary, but a life established upon God's promises rests on an eternal foundation. When everything around us changes, His Word remains our certainty. {The Faith I Live By - Page 15}.

Contemporary Application: Examine what you are building your life upon. Do not allow temporary pursuits to overshadow eternal priorities. Anchor your faith, decisions, and hopes in Scripture, remembering that only what is founded upon God's truth will endure.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for Your unchanging Word in an ever-changing world. Help me to treasure its truths above earthly possessions and ambitions. Establish my faith upon Your promises, and keep me steadfast until Jesus returns. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.

Heavy blessings to all. 🙏🙏

Good Morning To God’s Family!

DAILY NUGGET

The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth purified seven times. Psalm 12:6. (KJV)

A Divinely Inspired Book: An Infallible Revelation

God has not left humanity to wander in uncertainty concerning salvation. Through the Scriptures, He has revealed His will, established the standard of righteousness, and provided a trustworthy guide to eternal life. Human opinions may change, but God's truth remains unshaken.

Though the Bible has faced centuries of opposition and skepticism, its divine message endures. Its power lies not in human interpretation or intellectual achievement, but in the God who inspired it. Those who approach Scripture with humility and faith will discover truth sufficient to guide their lives and lead them to Christ. {The Faith I Live By - Page 13}.

Contemporary Application: Let God's Word, rather than popular opinions or personal preferences, be the final authority in your life. Study it prayerfully, trust its teachings, and allow its truth to shape your character. A life anchored in Scripture will stand firm when everything else is shaken.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for preserving Your inspired Word through the ages. Strengthen my confidence in its truth and give me a humble heart to receive its teachings. May Your Word guide my decisions, transform my character, and keep me faithful to Jesus. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.

Heavy blessings to all. 🙏🙏

Don't feel guilty for questioning God about your real struggles. Obedience means trusting Him in the middle of your questions, not after you have all the answers. Keep asking. Keep trusting. Your breakthrough is coming.

Good Morning To God’s Family!

DAILY NUGGET

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. 2 Timothy 3:16. (KJV)

A Divinely Inspired Book: All the Bible Inspired

From Genesis to Revelation, one glorious truth unfolds - Jesus Christ is the heart of Scripture. The Old Testament anticipates His coming through promises, prophecies, and sacrifices, while the New Testament reveals their fulfillment through His life, death, and resurrection. Together, they present one harmonious message of God's redeeming love.

No portion of Scripture is without spiritual value. As we study both Testaments, we discover fresh revelations of Christ's character and a deeper understanding of His plan of salvation. To know the Word more fully is to know the Saviour more intimately. {The Faith I Live By - Page 12}.

Contemporary Application: Do not neglect any portion of God's Word. Read both Testaments with a desire to discover Jesus, allowing His teachings to transform your life. Remember, the purpose of Bible study is not simply to gain information, but to experience a deeper relationship with Christ.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for the inspired Scriptures that reveal Your Son. Open my eyes to see Jesus throughout Your Word, and help me to embrace its truths with faith and obedience. May every moment spent in Scripture deepen my love for Christ and strengthen my walk with Him. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.

Heavy blessings to all. 🙏🙏

Good Morning To God’s Family!

DAILY NUGGET

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. 2 Corinthians 4:7. (KJV)

A Divinely Inspired Book: The Bible From Heaven

Heaven's greatest truths have been entrusted to human hands. Though the Bible was written by imperfect individuals, its message carries the authority and power of God. Through the Holy Spirit, divine wisdom was communicated in human language, revealing God's grace, truth, and purpose for humanity.

The treasures of Scripture are not always discovered through casual reading. They require prayer, patience, and a heart willing to obey. The deeper we search God's Word with a surrendered heart, the more clearly we discover the divine harmony of His truth. {The Faith I Live By - Page 11}.

Contemporary Application: Never approach Scripture merely to confirm what you already believe. Study with humility, asking the Holy Spirit to reveal God's truth and give you the courage to follow it. The richest treasures of God's Word are discovered by those who seek with faith and a teachable heart.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for entrusting Your heavenly treasures to humanity through Your Word. Give me a humble, teachable spirit and a deeper desire to search the Scriptures. May Your Holy Spirit illuminate my understanding and lead me into a closer walk with Jesus. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.

Heavy blessings to all. 🙏🙏

Good Morning To God’s Family!

DAILY NUGGET

For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. 2 Corinthians 1:20. (KJV)

The Bible a Perfect Guide: Its Promises Are Mine

God's promises are not distant words of encouragement; they are personal assurances from a loving Father. Every promise in Scripture reveals His willingness to strengthen, comfort, and sustain us. Faith takes God at His Word, even when our feelings suggest otherwise.

The same Jesus who spoke peace to troubled hearts still speaks through His promises today. As we believe and embrace His Word, our faith grows stronger, and His grace transforms our lives. God's promises become our strength when we make them our own through faith. {The Faith I Live By - Page 9}.

Contemporary Application: Do not measure God's faithfulness by your emotions or circumstances. Identify a promise in Scripture that speaks to your present need, claim it in prayer, and trust God to fulfill it according to His will.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for the precious promises in Your Word. Strengthen my faith to believe what You have spoken, even when I cannot see the answer. Help me to claim Your promises, rest in Your faithfulness, and live in the assurance of Your love. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.

Heavy blessings to all. 🙏🙏

Good Morning To God’s Family!

DAILY NUGGET

Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. Psalm 119:11. (KJV)

My Defense in Temptation

Temptation often strikes when we least expect it, but a heart filled with Scripture is never defenseless. God's Word equips us to recognize deception, resist sinful desires, and stand firm against the enemy. Jesus Himself demonstrated this power when He confronted temptation with the words, “It is written.”

The Scriptures must become more than words we read; they must become truths we treasure. As we store God's promises in our hearts, the Holy Spirit brings them to our remembrance when they are needed most. The Word hidden in the heart becomes a weapon in the hour of temptation. {The Faith I Live By - Page 8}.

Contemporary Application: Do not wait until temptation comes to seek spiritual strength. Study and memorize Scripture daily, allowing God's promises to shape your thoughts and decisions. A heart occupied with truth leaves less room for the enemy's deception.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, fill my heart with Your Word and strengthen me against temptation. Help me to treasure Your promises and recall them when my faith is tested. May Your Holy Spirit guide my thoughts and give me victory over sin. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.

Heavy blessings to all. 🙏🙏

There is nothing revolutionary about recycling misogyny and calling it comedy. Men have become so comfortable making women the punchline that they’ve failed to recognize how much more deserving of laughter their own conduct has become.

Shane, you keep searching for material beneath the dignity of women, seemingly unaware of how far beneath your own potential you’ve been willing to descend.
