On this Memorial Day as we remember and honor those that are brave and helped protect our freedoms.

Dear God,
We pray for those that were courageous and helped protect our freedoms. We lift up the families, friends, and loved ones in comfort. Today, we pray for peace, which those we honor today fought valiantly to achieve. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Happy Mother’s Day from AdventELC! Today to celebrate Mother’s Day we had a joy filled service at 10am. Full of beautiful music, recognition for those graduating/graduated from both high school and college, and saying thank you to the Hinkleman’s. This was the last Sunday with the Hinkleman’s. We thank Interim Pastor Dave for this past year and all that he added to Advent. Kim helped with our stewardship program, they will be missed. Until we meet again!

Through hymns, readings, etc. Following the service we will be having a picnic potluck lunch. Come join the fun here at AdventELC! Tomorrow is Good Friday. We will have a 12:00pm in person only service. At 7:00pm you can join us in person or online for our evening Good Friday service. We ask that you come in and sit down in silence as a silent meditation for the evening service. Join us to hear the readings leading to Jesus' crucifixion.
