Today, we join the Diocese of Columbus in giving thanks to God for the 4th Anniversary of the ordination and installation of Bishop Earl K. Fernandes as the 13th Bishop of Columbus.

On this anniversary, we are reminded that the office of a bishop is not simply a position of leadership, but a sacred calling: to teach, to sanctify, and to shepherd the people of God with the heart of Christ. In Bishop Fernandes, we have witnessed a joyful witness to the Gospel, a deep love for the Church, and a faithful commitment to leading souls closer to Jesus.

We are profoundly grateful for the gift he has been to our Diocese, for the joy he radiates as a disciple of Christ, and for his ministry as a successor to the Apostles. May the Lord continue to strengthen him with wisdom, courage, humility, and peace as he guides our Diocese in faith and leads us closer to Christ.

Today we celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

The mystery of the Holy Trinity reminds us that God is not solitude, but perfect love: the Father who creates us, the Son who redeems us, and the Holy Spirit who sanctifies and guides us.

As we honor this great mystery of our faith, may we open our hearts more deeply to the life of the Triune God and allow his love to shape our lives, our families, and our community.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Come, Holy Spirit! 🔥🕊️

On Pentecost, we celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and the birth of the Church.

Just as the Holy Spirit filled their hearts with courage, faith, and love, we pray that he may renew our hearts today; strengthening us to live as joyful witnesses of Christ in our families, our parish, and the world.

“And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit.” — Acts 2:4

Holy Spirit, fill our hearts and set them on fire with your love.

Congratulations to Father Dan Ochs on the 50th Anniversary of his Ordination!🙏

With grateful hearts, we thank God for Father Dan’s faithful “yes” to the priesthood and for 50 years of service, prayer, sacrifice, and ministry.

May the Lord continue to bless him abundantly, strengthen him in his vocation, and fill his heart with the joy and peace that come from serving Christ and his Church.

Yesterday on the St. Gabriel Café, we welcomed Deacon Rob Joseph, a successful businessman who serves at Our Lady of Victory Church, Columbus - and his wife, Krista, the Director of Religious Education at OLV.

Together, they shared a thoughtful conversation on marriage as a covenant, what it means to be “married single,” and how to heal together as a couple.

It was an honest and hopeful discussion about presence, commitment, and rediscovering unity in the sacrament of marriage.

Today, after Masses, our parish mothers received a small but meaningful gift: Spiritol; spiritual medicine for the soul. 🌸

Inside each box was a Rosary, not as ordinary beads, but as a gentle reminder that prayer is medicine for the heart. Just as the body needs care when it is tired or weak, the soul also needs healing, peace, strength, and comfort.

For every mother who carries silent worries, gives without counting, loves through exhaustion, and prays for her family with a hidden strength, the Rosary is a spiritual medicine placed in her hands by Our Blessed Mother.

Through each Hail Mary, Mary leads us closer to Jesus, the true healer of every heart and the source of lasting peace.

May this little gift remind all mothers that they are loved, seen, and never alone.

Our Lady, bless all mothers, strengthen them, and lead them always closer to your Son, Jesus. 💙🙏

Stella Maris joyfully celebrated its 2nd Anniversary on May 12 with a beautiful Living Rosary.

United in prayer, our community lifted their hearts to Our Blessed Mother as the Rosary was prayed in Arabic, Spanish, and English; a touching sign of the many voices and cultures gathered together in faith.

The evening continued with warm fellowship in Victory Hall, where all shared in the joy of this special anniversary.

May Our Lady, continue to guide us closer to her Son, Jesus. 💙🙏
