It is with deeply saddened hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Co-Founder, Evangelist Vernese Latham.

Evangelist Latham was a woman of faith whose love, sacrifice, prayers, and dedication helped lay the foundation upon which Mt. Nebo Baptist Church continues to stand. Her life and legacy will forever remain a treasured part of our church family.

We ask that you keep her children, our Pastor, the entire Latham family, and the Mt. Nebo Baptist Church family lifted in prayer as we mourn this tremendous loss and celebrate a life faithfully lived.

Funeral service details will be announced in the coming days as they become available.

“Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.”
Psalm 116:15

Rest well, Evangelist Latham. Your labor, love, and legacy will never be forgotten. 💙🤍
