Rain couldn’t stop this incredible group from Central College Presbyterian Church from showing up with love, determination, and servant hearts for our Rachel’s House properties. 🌸

With umbrellas overhead and with a literal truckload of flowers in tow, these strong and resilient women worked through pouring rain to beautify the spaces our participants call home. What began as the daunting task of pulling massive weeds from flower beds overtaken by spring weather soon after became a beautiful reminder of transformation, perseverance, and community.

By the end of the day, we were provided sunshine, flowers were blooming, and new friendships had formed. 💛

They now proudly call themselves “Rachel’s Gardeners,” and they have certainly won a place in our hearts. Thank you for serving alongside us and helping create spaces of hope, healing, and beauty for the women we serve through Lower Lights Ministries.

This Mother’s Day, we’re celebrating the incredible mothers in our Family Housing program who continue to choose hope, healing, and growth for themselves and their children.

At Lower Lights Ministries, we’ve seen firsthand the power of restoration through authentic community and supportive relationships. Through our Family Housing program, participants reconnect and establish solid relationships with their children in turn creating stronger families and brighter futures.

We are so proud of the mothers who show up each day with courage, perseverance, and love as they build stability and create lasting change for their families.

Summer is calling and so is Summer Arts Camp!

Applications for Lower Lights Ministries Summer Arts Camp 2026 are officially OPEN! 🎉

Our Arts Camp is a place where kids can grow, learn, and have FUN all summer long! Building friendships, exploring new activities, and creating memories that last.

Open to youth ages 7–11, the camp includes engaging educational activities, creative play, field trips, and daily meals, all designed to support the whole child.
