Our Catholic Schools

Our Catholic Schools Our Catholic Schools offer parents and students across the Diocese a daily opportunity to encounter Welcome to Our Catholic Schools.

As the largest private school system in the world, Catholic school communities share a rich tradition of faith spanning over two centuries. Each one of our school communities in the Diocese of Columbus provides safe, caring environments that emphasize rigorous academics and moral development. Children live out the values you teach at home in learning respect for all persons, service to others, and

leadership skills to build character and habits for life-long success. Catholic schools offer children a daily opportunity to seek knowledge and virtue in the Lord.

On this Earth Day, let us be reminded that God made us stewards for all of His creation. This includes the land, the sea, the sky, the animals, and every living thing - including each other and ourselves. Our schools foster this stewardship in each of our students from the very start!

Today is a day of sadness, of somber waiting. We mourn Christ's suffering and death, but we are not filled with despair because we know there is more. The story does not end today. It does not end in death. The beauty of our faith and of a Catholic education is that we believe in Christ's promises and are filled with hope for His resurrection and our salvation!

Today's funeral Mass for Fr. Schalk's mother Christ The King Church brings every aspect of our faith into focus. Our earthly journey only has purpose because of the ultimate destination - heaven. As we enter into Holy Week, we are grateful for the passion, suffering, death, and resurrection of Christ. He accepted His journey so ours could be possible. Catholic schools help our students to live with purpose and eyes on heaven!
