Please join us in praying for people living along the Gulf Coast as Hurricane Isaias, the first hurricane of the 2026 Atlantic hurricane season, continues to strengthen.

The storm is expected to make landfall along the northern Gulf Coast later tonight and early tomorrow morning, bringing the threat of storm surge, flooding, and damaging winds.

Salvation Army disaster response teams are monitoring the storm and preparing to respond in impacted communities following the storm.

Happy ! 🎉

Scripture tells us that God calls pastors to shepherd His people with knowledge, understanding, compassion, and love. This Pastor Appreciation Month, we’re giving thanks for Salvation Army officers across the Eastern Territory who have answered that call.

Throughout the month, we’ll be sharing the stories of pastors from across our Eastern Territory divisions and celebrating their faithful service to God and His people.

Thank you Lord for being a God who understands and supports us!
