MISSIONAL OPPORTUNITY 🛏️

This June, we’re partnering with Sleep in Heavenly Peace - GA, Columbus to help provide children in need with a safe and comfortable place to sleep!

You can help by “Stuffing the Bunk” in our lobby with donations of:
✨ New twin-sized bed-in-a-bags (comforters + sheet sets)
✨ New pillows

Our friends at SHP have been building so many beds for local children over the last few months, and they are in great need of bedding to complete them for each child receiving a bed.

Join us in making a tangible difference for families in our community this month, beginning this Sunday! 😀

As we celebrate Memorial Day, we also pause to remember and honor those who gave their lives in service to our country, as well as the families and loved ones who continue to carry the weight of that sacrifice. 🇺🇸

Yesterday, Chaplain Gill Price prayed this beautiful prayer over our congregation:

“We pray for those who have grieved, those who are grieving what's been lost, the lives that have been cut short, the families that have been destroyed, and Lord, the continued results that war leaves us with. Lord, we pray for healing for those who grieve, who have been wounded. And Lord, we look for your glorious return when swords will be turned into plowshares, when spears will be turned into pruning hooks, and war will be no more.”

May we continue to lift up these families in prayer and give thanks for the courage and sacrifice of those who served on our behalf.

In observance of Memorial Day, the church office will be closed today.

We officially welcomed summer interns this morning, and we are so excited for them to be a part of Christ Community for the next several months! You’ll see these new faces around, so please pray for them and encourage them in their new roles! 🧡

VBS registration is officially OPEN!

Get ready for an incredible week at Vacation Bible School, happening July 13–17 from 6-8:30 p.m.

VBS is open for children entering Kindergarten through 6th grade! Throughout the week, kids will experience fun activities, worship, games, teaching, and meaningful moments as they grow in their faith and build friendships.
