St. Luke's United Church of Christ (and Gruetli Parish)

St. Luke's United Church of Christ (and Gruetli Parish) A church of the United Church of Christ St. Luke's was founded in 1872 as by Swiss Reform immigrants. Luke's.

The church was long in relationship with the Gruetli Parish (founded 1869), with whom they had shared all but two pastors. In 1975 the two congregations merged into one worshipping primarily at St. However, part of the covenant made between the two communities was that Gruetli Parish would be kept up; to this day, St. Luke's worships at Gruetli from Memorial Day through Labor Day for an 8:00am worship service, an early morning Easter service (7am) and a late service on Christmas Eve (11pm).
