It is with GREAT Distress, to have to address such a horrific act of evil against these children in Texas. Emotions are high and many people including ourselves are in search of answers as to WHY and HOW this was able to happen. I know many may even turn their anger towards God and ask "Why does God allow bad things to happen to innocent and good people?". Which is NOT an easy question to answer.

But the answer is...

We are not OF this world but we are IN it, and unfortunately this is a down side to "Free Will". People have the free will to make heinous decisions, and no one is free from the consequences of those decisions. This is why we say "This world is WICKED!". So unfortunately bad things have to be allowed to happen or else we wouldn't truly have free will.

So what we need to be thinking about now is, What do we do to help these families and what do we do to protect our children and keeping this from happening again??? How about we add safety requirements for ALL schools that deny entry to ANYONE who have no business being inside the school? How do we find funding to help these parents with burial costs if they need them? How do we Love on the family who are mourning? THEN on top of all of that we can pray. Not necessarily in that order, we can definitely start with prayer but it cannot stop there.
