In the Silence on Saturday

Saturday is the quiet in between.

The day where heaven seemed silent…
where hope felt buried…
where prayers lingered without answers.

The cross had spoken. The tomb was sealed.
And all that was left… was waiting.

But even in the silence, God was still working.

What looked like defeat was not the end.
What felt like absence was not abandonment.
What seemed like silence was not inactivity.

Because sometimes, the holiest work of God
happens in the hidden places—
in the waiting,
in the stillness,
in the unknown.

Saturday reminds us that just because we can’t see it,
doesn’t mean God isn’t moving.

The story wasn’t over.
The stone wasn’t permanent.
The grave wasn’t final.

Sunday was coming.

So if you find yourself in a “Saturday season”…
hold on.
Stay faithful in the silence.
Trust Him in the waiting.

Because resurrection is closer than it feels.

✨ Sunday is coming. ✨

Today is Friday…

The day the sky grew dark.
The day the earth trembled.
The day the Son of God hung on a cross.

Today we remember the weight of our sin…
and the depth of His love.

Every nail driven, every drop of blood shed,
every breath He struggled to take—
He endured it all willingly.

Not because He was guilty…
but because we were.

The cross was not the end of His story—
it was the fulfillment of God’s promise.

It looked like defeat.
It felt like loss.
It sounded like silence.

But even in the darkness…
God was still working.

Today we pause.
We reflect.
We remember the sacrifice that changed everything.

Because of the cross, we have forgiveness.
Because of the cross, we have hope.
Because of the cross… we have life.

It’s Friday.

…but Sunday is coming.

On this Maundy Thursday, we pause to remember the night Jesus gathered with His disciples, broke bread, and gave a new commandment:
“Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” – John 13:34

It was a night marked by humility, sacrifice, and unfailing love.
Jesus knelt to wash feet. He shared a final meal. He prayed in the garden.
And through it all, He showed us what true love looks like.

Tonight, may we reflect on His example—
to serve, to love, and to surrender our hearts fully to Him.
