Yesterday morning, after service, I baptized our 88 year old piano player, Sister Carolyn Treadwell. As she was sitting in the water, I asked her to tell the church why she wanted to get baptized on her birthday. She said that the Holy Spirit reminded her, that since her salvation decades ago, that she has never been water baptized and wanted to get that accomplished.

What a humbling honor to have shared in this solemn and joyous moment!!!!! To God be all the glory!!!!

SPOTLIGHT POST:

THIS IS BROTHER BUDDY AND SISTER ANNETTE BALLARD. IN NOVEMBER THEY WILL BE MARRIED 65 YEARS.

BROTHER BUDDY IS ONE OF OUR CHURCH ELDERS. HE IS THE SOUND MAN AND HELPS IN ALMOST EVERY PART OF THE CHURCH THAT HAS A NEED.

SISTER ANNETTE IS AN ANOINTED SINGER IN WHICH THE THE LORD USES TO ALL WHO HEAR HER VOICE.

BEALLWOOD CHURCH OF GOD IS BLESSED TO HAVE THEM AS MEMBERS!!!

The Lord is always doing wonderful things. Below are three individuals, who have been faithful to this church for years, yet had not officially joined the church. These precious people thought it right to join the church officially on their own.

The husband and wife are the Rev. Billy and Sister Sonja Hudson. They were long time servants in the kingdom through the Pentecostal Church of God. These two do different things within the church with excellence and will now start a newly birthed nursing home ministry as an extension of Beallwood.

Brother David Thornell is currently our praise and worship leader as well as a newly appointed Elder. Brother David is a Vietnam Veteran and has been serving the Lord here through the spirit of excellence as well.

All three love the Lord their God and the people of Beallwood with true, unfeigned love. Praise the Lord for these three servants of the Lord!!!!!
