Columbus First Church of the Nazarene

Columbus First Church of the Nazarene We are a congregation of believers in Jesus Christ who have been spreading the good news of the gospel for 69years ….and counting✨

We are a loving church of believers who beleive in the almighty Triune God the father, the son and the holy ghost. We beleive that Jesus, as a perfect sacrifice, died for our sins and rose again to sit at the right hand of the father as an intercessor for us and that accepting him as our savior is the pathway to true salvation. We fellowship in love, encouraging each other to good works as the wor

d encourages us in Heb. 10:25. We welcome you to join us either in person or virtually as we do the good work that God has for all of us and seek the abundant life that God has promised.

Sometimes we focus so much on what we’ve survived that we forget to ask why God brought us through it.

You didn’t survive just because you’re strong. You survived because God still has a purpose for your life.

When God has a calling on your life, obstacles will come. People may not understand you. Situations may try to discourage you. But if God brought you through it, He has a reason for it.

Your survival is not the end of the story—it’s preparation for your purpose.

Keep praying.
Keep praising.
Keep serving.

Because God’s purpose for you is bigger than any situation you’re facing.

Our heart is full as we see some of the amazing things our young people are doing this summer!

While many students spend their summer break glued to phones, tablets, and video games, several of our youth are choosing to stay active, productive, and focused on their future.

We are so proud of Kimani, who is spending this summer working at Splashway Water Park. So if you spot her don’t hesitate to speak!

We are also excited for Mason and his friend, who showed great initiative by starting their own snow cone stand. Their hard work, responsibility, and entrepreneurial spirit are wonderful examples of what young people can accomplish when they put their minds to it. You can support him on MLK in Columbus.

We also want to celebrate Alyssa, who recently graduated from junior high and is preparing to begin an exciting new chapter as a high school freshman and varsity cheerleader! Her summer will be filled with camps, practices, and preparation for the upcoming school year. We are proud of her dedication and commitment as she takes on this new challenge.

As a church family, it brings us so much joy to watch our youth grow, pursue their goals, and make positive choices. Whether it’s working a job, starting a small business, preparing for athletics, or simply striving to be their best, we are cheering them on every step of the way.

Please join us in congratulating Kimani, Mason, and Alyssa! We are proud of you and look forward to seeing all that God has in store for your future.

“Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers…” – 1 Timothy 4:12
