HGPM ministers twice monthly at North Central Correctional Institute. We also participate in regular workshops at Marion Correctional Institute. Our in prison ministry team provides christian services as well as monthly workshops based on topics which pertains to inmates. Residents of NCCI's Faith-Based Dorm have been particular receptive to workshops based upon the book God Knew You Were Crippled
, by Dr. Sherman Watkins. We provide various books and videos on spiritual growth and/or past sermons. HGPM's Women's Outreach Program ministers each month at the Combined Shelter Board, reaching women of all ages. Each service is planned to feed both body and soul. Meals include a main dish, drink and dessert. We open and close each service in prayer. Ministering in scripture, song, testimony and teaching. We also offer one-on-one prayer and mentoring. Literature and other materials are provided to the women. Additionally, we offer each woman an open invitation to join us for our weekly services at Higher Ground Always Abounding Assemblies. HGPM's Card & Letter Writing Ministry sends inspirational cards and affirmations to inmates each month. We write inmates, in response to their questions regarding the bible. This ministry is very important, as the only mail that some inmates receive, are the uplifting cards sent by our team. It is an honor to serve our Lord and Savior while being in service to His people.
