We had tons of fun at our campfire this Wednesday! 🍁🍂

See you tonight at 6pm for some campfire fun! We just want to meet some neighbors and make new friends, so seriously, come on out and bring a friend!

What we'll have:

- A fire to roast stuff on
- Skewers
- Beef got dogs, brats, and buns to match
- Condiments
- Apple c***r
- S'mores fixings
- C***r donuts
- Co****le
- Seating for about 15 (but bring a camp chair if you want!)

What you can bring:

- Yourself!
- Friends!
- Favorite campfire chair
- Fall snacks to share or your choice of food to roast over the fire if you don't want hot dogs/brats

6-8pm at Smoky Row Brethren Church (7260 Smoky Row Rd, Columbus, OH 43235).

We'll be at the campfire pit behind the garden shed to your left as you enter the parking lot.

Campfire Night! Wednesday October 21st, 6-8pm.

Join us around the campfire behind the garden shed here at the church for campfire, hot dogs & brats, s’mores, apple c***r, and other fall treats! We’ll have some food for everyone, but feel free to bring a chair, some friends, and your own fall treats to share as well!

No RSVP required. Yes, you are invited! Seriously, just show up 🙂

Throwback post from a few years ago:

A Prayer Practice to Love More Like Jesus.

Knowing that God is love (1 John 4:8), take the apostle Paul's description of love in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 and replace the word "love" with God. Reflect on all the ways God has demonstrated love throughout history and in your own life.

God is patient.
Godis kind.
God does not envy.
God does not boast.
God is not proud.
God does not dishonor others.
God is not self-seeking.
God is not easily angered.
God keeps no record of wrongs.
God does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
God always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
God never fails.

We had such a fun time at our petting zoo event this weekend! Despite the rain, we got to meet several neighbors and all have fun meeting and loving on some farm animals. Hope to see you all again soon! Join us for worship, Sundays at 10:30am!

WEATHER UPDATE: Petting Zoo event is STILL ON!

Be mindful of storms in the area, but you can still come on out to join us for some petting zoo fun today! Animals will be here rain or shine. We have a tent to keep everyone dry 🙂

Hi friends - come join us meet some farm animals!

From 10am-Noon at Smoky Row Brethren Church on Saturday September 12th, you can meet, pet, feed, and take pictures with farm animals. We'll also have a coloring booth, crafts, and some games. The more the merrier! Invite your friends!

And join us Sunday for our Grandparents' Day lunch after our worship service!

We had such a fun time today at the Festival of Faiths and Nations in downtown Worthington, sponsored by Worthington Interfaith Neighbors. We even got to play some of our favorite songs! Thanks to all who joined us, especially our friends from ChristCore Brethren Church !

So much more that I could mention in this video, but so little time! Huge thank you to our friends at Smithville Brethren Church for all their generosity. Thank you also to our friends at Park Street Brethren Church who helped us with new carpet and paint in two classrooms last year. And thank you to the Brethren Church North Central Regional Leadership Team for extending a grant for updates to our playground last year. God has been so faithful by inspiring our brothers and sisters not only to give, but to care deeply for us and support us in prayer and mission. 

Our congregation has been enlivened by the investment - people are serving in new ways, we are meeting new neighbors and deepening relationships, and we have gained so much more clarity on who we are and what God is calling us to in this next season.

If you are in and around NW Columbus, OH and looking for a community to join in seeking Jesus as we love our neighbors, come check us out!

We first hear of the apostle Paul in the book of Acts, where he shows up at Saul the pharisee who is zealously bent on persecuting the "blasphemous" sect of Jesus followers. When Jesus appears to him on the road to Damascus, Saul instantly realizes just how wrong he has been. That kind of conviction can be debilitating apart from Jesus. But the grace and mercy of Christ meets us in our weakness and offers us life. We can trust Jesus with our failures, because he alone can take them and make something beautiful.
