Thankful for all our friends who helped us with some projects around the church grounds last Saturday!

We were able to:

- w**d and mulch the front flower beds and arouns the fire pit
- clear brush along the fence line
- clear the garden shed and install the water pump for the gardeners
- spot clean some of our chairs for the worship center
- organize and stack firewood
- and more!

We have tons of people who grace our property - for worship services, food pantry, recovery groups, and more. We're grateful for those who take time to keep our place welcoming for all who visit!

Big thank you to our leaders at Help My Neighbor who make the Smoky Row Food Pantry happen every week.

We actually have tons of people who serve with us to make our pantry possible. We could not do what we do without the help of friends from other churches, other faith backgrounds, and even no faith background at all. People serve for all sorts of reasons. But the reason WE serve and make our church building available for the food pantry, community garden, recovery groups, and so much more is specifically because of what Jesus has done for us. We don't just show love to others because we think it's generally good for the world (we do believe that, too). We love because God first loved us. So whether our neighbors look like we do, believe like we do, or even like us at all, we love and serve them because we have been loved deeply by our God before we ever did anything to deserve it.

If you'd like to know more about Jesus, we'd love to chat. Or if you'd just like to serve alongside us because you want to do some good for your community, we'd love to chat about that, too! God bless, friends!
