Union Grove Baptist Church invites you to celebrate the Second Pastoral Anniversary of our Senior Pastor, Rev. Derrick K. Holmes!

Yesterday was a wonderful day of worship and celebration as we honored Father's Day and Men's Day at Union Grove Baptist Church.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so special. We celebrate the fathers, grandfathers, mentors, and men of faith whose leadership, love, and example continue to impact generations.

A special thank you to Rev. Tommy Hicklin for sharing a powerful Word from the Lord that challenged, encouraged, and inspired us to continue walking faithfully with God.

We are grateful for all that God did in our worship experience and look forward to what He will continue to do in the lives of His people.

Happy Juneteenth!

Today we celebrate freedom, resilience, and the enduring hope of a people who refused to give up.

The Juneteenth flag tells a powerful story. The star represents Texas, where the news of freedom finally reached enslaved African Americans on June 19, 1865. The burst surrounding the star symbolizes a new beginning and a brighter future. The red, white, and blue remind us that Black history is American history.

As we honor this day, may we remember the sacrifices of those who came before us, celebrate the progress that has been made, and continue working toward justice, unity, and opportunity for all.

Yesterday was a wonderful day as we celebrated our graduates and all they have accomplished!

As we honored their hard work, perseverance, and dedication, we were also reminded that every achievement comes with a greater calling.
