We thank Almighty God for the wonderful celebration of the Feast of St. Anthony of Padua Sunday! It was a joyous and spiritually enriching occasion, filled with thanksgiving, prayers, and fellowship.

We especially thank the parish, most especially the Solazzo family, for their tireless dedication to make the festivities possible!

May the blessings received through this celebration continue to abound in our lives, and may St. Anthony’s example of faith, humility, and devotion inspire us always.

We would like to to express gratitude for the tireless work and service of the Sister Servants of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus that stay at Sacred Heart, most especially Sister Miriam Joseph and Sister Monica Marie!

As they head into their well-deserved summer break—which is often a time of renewal, retreats, and preparation for their apostolic ministries—they leave behind a profound impact on our parish families!

We pray they come back refreshed!

Reminder: Join us this Sunday for the St. Anthony of Padua Celebration at Saint John the Baptist. 🌿

Procession begins at 9:45 AM, followed by Mass at 10:00 AM.

Please note the Mass time change for this Sunday only. We hope you’ll join us for this beautiful parish tradition.

🌿 Join us for our Annual St. Anthony of Padua Celebration 🌿

On Sunday, June 14, our parish community will gather to honor St. Anthony with a beautiful morning of prayer, tradition, and fellowship.
Please note that Mass time is changed for June 14 only.

The celebration will begin with a procession at 9:45 a.m. featuring the carrying of the statue of St. Anthony, followed by Mass at 10:00 a.m. Mass will conclude with the blessing and distribution of St. Anthony’s bread, and a reception will follow in Sala Hall.

We warmly encourage all parishioners, friends, and especially children to participate in the procession.
Children in Kindergarten through age 11 are invited to dress in a monk’s costume for the procession and should arrive at Marrapese Hall by 9:30 a.m.

THE APPEAL UPDATE
Our 2026 (Bishop's Annual) Appeal campaign is well underway at St. John the Baptist. So far, we have raised $27,350 toward our parish goal of $40,282. We are at 67% of our goal!

Thank you to all who already have participated!!! Your generosity will benefit hundreds of pastoral, charitable, and educational programs at work within the Diocese of Columbus, and at St. John the Baptist.

FUNERAL NOTICE

Please keep Elinda Gastaldo, a parishioner of St. John the Baptist, who passed away.

Eternal Rest, grant unto Elinda, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her.

May she rest in peace.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 South High Street Columbus, Ohio 43207. Private family graveside service will be held at Resurrection Cemetery, Lewis Center, Ohio.
