National Day of Prayer
The National Day of Prayer is an annual day of observance designated by the United States Congress and held on the first Thursday of May, when people are asked "to turn to God in prayer and meditation".
I often ask for your prayer requests, and I always welcome them, promising to pray for each one."
However, today I'm asking you to pray. Here is a list I'm asking you to pray for:
1. The Church, that it may be a light in the world.
2. Our country, for unity and wisdom.
3. Israel, for peace and protection.
4. Our President and elected officials, for guidance.
Lost souls, that they may find hope in Christ.
Your Pastor, for strength and discernment.
As Philippians 4:6 reminds us, ‘Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.’ Let’s bring these needs before Him together.
Prayer changes things - I see it happen every day.
I love each person and family that gets this message. Please reply or reach out with any prayer concerns, and I’ll lift them up with you."
Blessings!
