We are back with the series "The Only Legacy That Matters: Values".

Deuteronomy 6:4-9
“Listen, O Israel! The Lord is our God, the Lord alone. And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates."

It takes a wholehearted faith to take a full commitment to Christ!
We need an all day faith that meets our children, our family, our friends where they are at just like Jesus meets us where we are at. It can be conversations in the car on the way to school practices or on the couch with your introverted kids.

We need a personal faith! The way we present ourselves to the world like our style is personal. We need to make God's word personal! We need to live as citizens as heaven conducting yourselves in a manner worthy of the good news about Christ.

Not only do we need a personal faith, but we need a community faith too. It is not just our individual witness but a community! Our young people need to see that its not just mom and dad who see and act in their faith, they need who they are surrounded with to be talking about the Good News, proclaiming their faith, and being public is their story!
