A woman pulled into Planned Parenthood at noon one day to abort the child living within her. It was her second visit. Her husband didn't want the abortion, but she felt completely overwhelmed with motherhood and their three small children. She asked God to show her a sign if she was to turn away. Our volunteer Renee was that sign for her. She let Renee take a picture of her as she and her baby went home to their family!

Mom M was a teenager who showed up for her abortion appointment at 18-weeks-pregnant even after accidentally going to a pregnancy center. After talking to us, she decided to skip her appointment and get a free ultrasound at a second pregnancy center. We showed her a video of how her baby would be killed and offered to help get her to a maternity home. Even after her ultrasound, she tried to reschedule her abortion 3 times! One time she forgot her ID, another time she was too late to the appointment. By the third try (now over 19 weeks), she had to watch her younger siblings for her mother during the appointment time. By the grace of God and so many prayers, she finally chose life. She said she could not stop thinking about the video and what abortion would do to her baby. With something stopping her at each appointment, she said she realized how much God wanted to keep her from the abortion. We worked to help her get $900, her very first paycheck, reimbursed from Planned Parenthood. Praise God for His providence! Our prayers are more powerful than we realize!

We saw a car with a rosary on the rearview mirror and two Our Lady of Guadalupe stickers on the windshield pull into the driveway that Your Choice Healthcare is connected to. We tried to tell them about all the free help that is available before pointing to the stickers of the “Virgen de Guadalupe” pregnant with our Lord Jesus on their windshield. They agreed that the grace of Jesus and prayers of Mary would provide for their little family. They never came back for the appointment they scheduled!

BREAKING: Your Choice Healthcare is closing in two weeks! Since 2022, Catholics for Life has been praying and offering help to mothers at Your Choice Healthcare. We have had complete coverage, reaching every mother for years! We have seen dozens of mothers turn-away and babies saved. We have prayed and prayed for the conversion of the doctor and staff and that they would close. Now by the grace of God, they are closing their doors in two weeks!

When she finally came over to us, Julia immediately started crying. She was praying on her way to the abortion. As soon as she walked in the pregnancy center with us, she prayed a beautiful, heartfelt prayer of thanksgiving. As she left after her ultrasound, she told us, "I have so much peace, so much hope, so much joy! I cannot wait for tomorrow to have a new day with my baby! I thank God that He knew my heart, that He heard my prayer. I got to see my baby, and I got to hear my baby's heart! I never want to see this place [Planned Parenthood] again! I hope God repays you for your work here!” A few weeks later, her boyfriend proposed; and they are now married!

Every piece of literature we pass out at the abortion facilities has our email on the back so people can contact us for help. We had never had anyone contact us though until we received an email on Good Friday. A mother named Eboni wrote, "I received your pamphlet from outside Planned Parenthood. I kept it because I was unsure about my decision. I paid $750 but after seeing my ultrasound I just can’t do it." She changed her mind during the abortion appointment and left!

We talked to a married couple at Planned Parenthood with their 3 children who again and again tried to tell us they were not there for an abortion. After we contacted them about a pro-life doctor in their city, the mother confessed she had indeed had an abortion. She went on to break our hearts with these words: "Do you know how much I regret it now? … If you had said what you said that day earlier… How I wish he was with me now… If I had met you before I went there, you would have stopped us.”

Jessica, who had a weekly shift at Planned Parenthood, had been trying to listen to the promptings of the Holy Spirit. As she drove past a woman on the sidewalk, she felt called to turn her car around and talk to her. She made a U-turn, pulled up alongside the woman, and said, “Jesus told me to come talk to you.” The woman herself shared that “God told me the person in that car would help me!”
