Tonight's nugget for our Friday night is give. Thanks. We have come through another week. And we know that it was only about the grace and the goodness of God. We have been threw some challenges but through it all, we learn to depend on God. And to take him at his word. So just a nugget tonight that I listened to a couple of Sundays ago at historical San James almi church here in Columbus. Georgia, and it was entirely the subject. Give, thanks from first Chronicles, 167 to 8. It reads then on that day, David delivered first. This psalms, to thank the Lord as he entered into the hands of ASAP and his brotherman, give, thanks unto the Lord call upon his name, make known his deeds among his people. This advice David gave to the people of Israel. Many years ago is good advice that we should. Heed that we should put in our memory bank to always give God. Thanks. Thanking for another day. Thanking for his goodness. Thanking for keeping us if we follow this advice, we would have the blessings of God in this place. Not only in church on Sunday morning, but in your house. And wherever you go, upon the Lord and make known his deeds among the people, there are so many things we, the African people who live in America ought to give, thanks to God for we thank him for our survival as a people. Our achievements. Our steadfastness in his love. Thank him for how he has provided for us in this country. Thank him for providing his son, giving his son as an offering for our sins. Second Corinthians, chapter 9. Verse 15 says. Thanks. Beyond to God for his unspeakable gift. Thank him for his word, the Bible. Such contempted 316 through 17, says all stripture is given back inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine for reproof far correction for instructions and righteousness that the man of God may be perfect thoroughly furnished onto all good works. Thank him for sending his older spirit to convict us of sin. And to bring us to himself. Yes, we all have sin by thought word. And sometimes deed, but God is patient with us and to give us. So thank him for patience. Thank him for his salvation for it is saved because he saved us and brings in and his son to keep us from Sin 2 save us from sin. It's the power that keeps us fighting against our daily sins. Seen and unseen, and it established a hope for the future. My testimony tonight is give. Thanks unto the Lord bless his name for he's worthy to be praised. Then, number twoI say call upon him. When you need him, call on your best friend. And he can't be fine, but we call on Jesus. His life, he will your life. He will owe call upon him. And worship psalm's 95 1st 5 says o'comma, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the Lord. I make don't just go to church and sit to see who has on water who says what but be a truth worshiper, be folk Lord. Our makeup call Em for him in psalms. Psalms, 951 say, oh come, let us sing unto the Lord. Let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation sum's 151 to 6 tells us to call upon him to thank him. Oh, enter his gates with Thanksgiving and into his course with praise. Be thankful unto him and bless his name. Thank God for Jesus. Thank God for the church. Thank God for his spirit. His word and his patience, call up him. And prayer and ask him to send laborers into the world prayer warriors, Matthew 938, says, pray. E therefore the Lord of a harvest that he will send forth laborers. Into his harvest in the vineyard, all efficient chapter 6 versus 19. The 20 says that I may open my mouth bowling. To make known the mystery of the gospel therein. I may speak boldly as I ought to speak. Don't keep your mouth shut. Tell somebody about the goodness of God pray that g 2 and how he is only God that did it, you deceiving yourself. If you think that you got through this week all on your own, it was only God LA. Here's mercy that we are not all consumed. And point 3 says, make known his deeds among the people tell it, tell it, tell it make known gods deeds of grace and mercy. According to his word, his choice of disciples, he chose you. And O ma ma get closer to him, make known gods Des and mercers in your own lives. If you have a problem, all you have to do is, say, Lord, help me with this problem, make known that gods deliverance. From whatever your problem is, whatever the sins is. And his penalty, because he loves us. He removed the penalty of death that we deserve. So rightly, but when we called on him, he answers make known how God brought us from slavery to freedom. As we celebrate Black History Month, make known how that period of slavery gave us hope, gave us help of freedom produced by our ancestors. Our sheroes, and our heroes. We must tell it make it known how we as a people have produced communities, schools, businesses, statesmen's presidents, spiritual leaders. All songs and hymns, spiritual songs. Jazz and a piece that surpasses all understanding for we are people of faith. There is faith. There is hope as long as you give. Thanks to God, we were created to praise him. And give him, thanks, though, let us give thanks to the Lord call upon his name. Make known gods deeds among the people. Wherever you go, whatever you do I give. Thanks. Thank you. God for another day. This is the day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice every day. O magnify the Lord with me and let us exalt his name together.
