Sunday’s story comes from Acts 27-28:10. How do you keep trusting God when bad things happen? Paul was sailing to Rome and the trip was long and full of problems due to the weather and the sea currents along the way. Paul encouraged the men aboard “So keep up your courage, men, for I have faith in God that it will happen just as he told me.” Always keep your focus and trust in God in all situations. An official had gone to Jerusalem to worship and was reading Isaiah on his way home. Philip was nearby and explained scripture. What have you seen God do? Most of the time God does little things, some we are very aware of and others we don’t notice. Today’s story comes from Acts 3-4:22. This was a big thing for a crippled man. Peter and John spoke in the name of Jesus and the man was able to walk again. The temple priests did not like it and asked them to stop talking about Jesus. Peter and John said we cannot stop and many people accepted Jesus as their savior. We should not stop telling others about Jesus. Please join us in Sunday School at 9:45. Children’s church is at 11.

Joy!!! The Holy Spirit came to the disciples in a ball of fire that separated and flames were above their heads. Today’s story comes from Acts 2:1-41. When those flames landed, they could understand other languages as well as their own which gave them Joy!!. We have Google Translate today, the folks with the disciples were able to hear and immediately understand the other languages spoken. Please join us at Sunday School at 9:45. In children’s church, we learned how Paul was once blind and now he can see! I challenged each kid to tell someone about Jesus this week. I can’t wait to hear all about it! 🤍✝️
