Backyard Friends

Backyard Friends Backyard Friends is a non-profit Christian ministry that focuses on teaching children that God loves them and has a plan for their life.

This ministry is 100% local and not affiliated with a specific church or denomination. However, we do partner with many local churches and organizations such as: Rally Point Youth Center (YFC), Crosspoint Community Church, and Teens for Christ (Converge/Operation Love Lima) just to name a few. Our dedicated volunteers also come from a variety of local congregations, communities and backgrounds. We

have never and will never ask for money or any donations from the community we serve. The only thing we ask for is a place to park our truck. Backyard Friends has been operating in Lima, Ohio for well over 20 years and has reached thousands of children. Weekly “Sidewalk Sunday School” includes songs, stories, fun games, special activities and community programs. Some of our special events include community cook outs, a backpack giveaway, annual Easter program, and annual Christmas meals. Some of our current sites in your area:
