There are so many exciting things happening at the Ship that you shouldn’t miss!

Sunday, October 18th - 10:30am: Youth Sunday with special guest speaker, Angie L. Woods. We’re inviting all parents/guardians, educators, coaches and anyone who works with the youth to join us for an important open conversation.

Saturday, November 14th - 8:30am: a part of our Family & Friends Day Weekend, we are hosting a Health, Wellness & Grief Navigation forum with special guest, Richland County Coroner Naida Rutherford. This event is free to the public and will share a wealth a knowledge necessary for our community.

Sunday, November 15th - 10:30: Family & Friends Day 2026! We are super excited to welcome your family and friends for a “come as you are” worship experience! Members of our congregation are encouraged to have their family/friend group wear the same color.

We are beyond excited to welcome Angie L. Woods as our guest speaker for Youth Sunday at the Ship, on October 18th. Dr. Woods is a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, with a private practice called Empowering Lives Counseling & Consulting.
Youth Sunday will focus on social media safety for teens, the youth su***de rate, and other mental, physical and social characteristics of the modern child. If you would like to submit questions for Dr. Woods, you can email them to [email protected] or message us. We are inviting ALL educators, school admins, youth advisors, coaches, law enforcement and community leaders. We want a better a future for our youth and it starts by having these conversations. We’ll see you on Sunday, October 18th at 10:30am!
