Our sweet little Praise Kids Group is selling these handmade cinnamon salt dough ornaments, as a Fundraiser!
They are $5 each, and all proceeds will go to our little, small but mighty group!
Now here’s the backstory and why we are opting to fundraise…
Back in the summer, we decided to dive head first into starting a Youth Group, and that’s just what a few of us did! Our little group started with 5 kiddos and in these few short months has doubled!
We take the entire group (kiddos and adults) out to eat on the last Wednesday night of each month, when we do our Monthly Service Projects!
We fellowship and have fun!
Every Wednesday night, we meet, pray, eat, and teach the kiddos about Jesus, but sometimes the kiddos end up teaching us about Jesus!!
When we started this group, there was some money in the Youth Fund at Bearwallow from years ago. We took that over and some sweet people from Church donated the proceeds from the Fish Fry to our group.
I don’t think a week has passed that some kind people from Church haven’t slipped us some cash to help!
Let me brag on this little group, that I’m blessed to be a part of! In the past few months that we’ve been meeting here’s just some of the things this little group has done:
Donated money to a local family who lost their home in a fire
Purchased 1,300 bags of chips to hand out at Treats on the Town
Created and deliver Boo Bags to some local church people
Took the kiddos and any adults that wanted to go to Bearwallow Farms for a trip
Filled the Blessing Box at Church
Hosted a Halloween Party at Church
Purchased a Christmas Tree for each room at the Nursing Home
Created cards and delivered them to each resident at the Nursing Home
Purchased supplies to clean the fences at Church, as well as cleaned them
Again, I want to brag on the kids! They’re always ready to pitch in and help! We are trying to teach them how to be the hands and feet of Jesus, and they are amazing!
Again, we are a small group of about 10 adults and 10 kiddos. We may be small in number, but we love big!
We will continue to pray and grow this little group closer to Jesus!
We also promise to utilize any funds that are so graciously donated to us, and not hoard it up into an account that never gets used! We promise to continue to bless the community by sharing Jesus’ love!

Also, if you want to come hang out with us any Wednesday at 6 pm, we promise we’ll make you feel welcome! Like seriously, we will! All ages welcome…we are the Praise Kids Group but we’re all Jesus’ kids!!
