HISTORY OF THE KENTUCKY CORNFIELD REVIVAL. There's a fire out of control in Kentucky. back in June of 2014 a local man named Bobby Brown asked a prophetic evangelist named John Harke if he could somehow work a 3 day tent revival into his busy schedule. John agreed, but God had other plans, and the revival is still ongoing. The revival went for over 100 straight days before the approaching winter n
ecessitated a move out of the tent and indoors. Many revivals start out burning brightly and make a lot of smoke, but if they are kept within 4 walls quickly run out of fuel leaving only memories left behind. This revival has been different from the start. Members from many different denominations have attended and to the amazement of some, the Holy Spirit has not shown any special favoritism whatsoever. Methodist stand next to Pentecostal praising the Lord with one voice. Amish, Baptist, Mennonites and many others with eyes focused only on Jesus. The lost being saved, the Prodigal returning home, the sick being healed and deliverance from addictions, all these have become the normal and not the exception. The air seems to be saturated with the Glory of God. Some say they have heard angels singing, with others claiming to have seen them. A few have even said they saw Jesus. Even the preaching comes in many different flavors with blue-collar ministers being brought in from all over the United States, with the only common denominator being the heavy anointing that seams to rest upon all of them. Most of those ministering are gifted with the prophetic and the Holy Spirit has used their voices to give clarity, vision and direction to many different individuals, proving its authenticity by the secrets they reveal. God is beginning to place many in their Apostolic calling. Gifts of the spirit, long hidden because of fear and condemnation have been revealed and opened in the light of his presence. The gifted are then returning to their different congregations to stoke new fires. It is starting to become obvious that Gods Glory is beginning to fall on a region and not just a locality. GOD WILL HAVE A REMNANT, those unwilling to be conformed to the image of this world. A peculiar people not satisfied with a party at King Belshazzar palace while the enemy is breaking down the gate. They will have ears to hear the still small voice and the boldness and courage to speak to dry bones.
