Pentecostals of Columbia

Pentecostals of Columbia We believe that there is only ONE God (Deuteronomy 6:4). We believe that he is the creator of the world, and all living things.

The Pentecostals of Columbia is a Church founded upon the belief that the Bible is the inspired and infallible word of God. We believe in the Great Commission and as such are endeavoring to share the glorious gospel around the world, with mercy, love, and compassion. We believe that he is the creator of the world and all living things. We believe that he has manifested as the Father in creation, t

he Son in redemption, and the Holy Ghost in regeneration. We believe that Jesus Christ was God manifest in the flesh (John 4), and he poured out his Spirit on the day of Pentecost. We believe that he is coming again for his people, and our lives should be lived preparing for that day. We believe in repentance for the forgiveness of sin as the first step in the plan of salvation, and because all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God, all must needs repent. We believe in baptism by full immersion in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of those sins, and we believe in the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance. (Acts 2:38, Colossians 2:11-14, Acts 2:4, Romans 6: 3-6)

We believe in the manifestation of the Gifts of the Spirit. Jesus Christ ministers to his people through tongues, interpretation of tongues, prophecy, words of wisdom and knowledge, miracles, discernment of spirit, and faith. ( I Corinthians 12:7-11)

We believe in living a life of Holiness from the inside out. Just as the Gifts of the Spirit are available to the Church today, so too are the Fruit of the Spirit. We strive through the power of the Holy Ghost to incorporate love, peace, gentleness, goodness, temperance, meekness, longsuffering, joy, and faith into our hearts. (Galatians 5:22-23) We also believe in modesty of apparel, and a Christian identity that we proudly wear as a derivative of the change God gave us through his Spirit. We are a people saved by grace, working together to sow the seeds of the Gospel everywhere we can, for as long as we can. We are fellow pilgrims seeking for a city whose builder and maker is God. We are a people striving to know him in the power of his resurrection, and in the fellowship of his suffering. We are the Pentecostals of Columbia!!
