What really happens when we die? Is heaven real? What about hell and judgment?

These are questions that everyone has probably thought about at some point. But what does the Bible actually say?

This Wednesday night, we’re continuing our series, “What Does the Bible Say About…?” as we explore Heaven, Hell, and Judgment.

Using Jesus’ account of the rich man and Lazarus in Luke 16:19–31, we’ll examine what Scripture teaches about life after death, eternity, and standing before God.

We’ll also separate what the Bible actually teaches from some of the things we’ve simply heard or assumed over the years.

Our youth recently attended Judgment House, so this will be a great opportunity for youth and adults to study these important truths together.

What Are You Holding On To?

We all have things in life that we depend on—our finances, our health, our careers, and the plans we’ve made for the future. But what happens when those things begin to shake?

This Sunday, as we continue our Faithful to the Finish series in Hebrews 12:18–29, we’ll discover an incredible truth: Everything in this world can be shaken, but through Jesus Christ, we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken!

Are you placing your confidence in things that won’t last, or in the One who will never fail?

We’d love for you to join us!

What can I do to be apart of this?

We have a sign up sheet to work one of three shifts at the welcome center in the church foyer. But we also need cases of water. Prayerfully consider donating cases of water. You can place them in the hall outside the church office. Thank you for your support.

Giants? Fallen angels? Mighty warriors? Who were the Nephilim?

Have you ever read Genesis 6 and wondered what in the world it was talking about?

This Wednesday, we’re kicking off our brand-new Bible study series, “What Does the Bible Say About…?” And we’re starting with one of the most mysterious passages in Scripture!

Who were the Nephilim? Who were the “sons of God”? And why does the Bible mention them again after the Flood?

We’ll explore the different interpretations, examine what Scripture actually says, and separate biblical truth from speculation.

You don’t have to be a Bible scholar to join the conversation. Just bring your Bible, your questions, and a willingness to learn!

What's Slowing You Down? | Hebrews 12:1–17

Are you running the race of faith, or are you allowing the weight of life to slow you down?

Yesterday morning, we experienced a power outage at Ebenezer Baptist Church that prevented us from livestreaming our worship service. Thankfully, we were still able to record most of the service, and we're excited to share the message with you!

In Hebrews 12:1–17, we're reminded that following Jesus requires endurance, keeping our eyes fixed on Christ, and understanding that God's discipline is not meant to condemn us but to grow us.

The Christian life isn't about how fast we start. It's about remaining faithful to the finish!

We invite you to watch, be encouraged, and share this message with someone who may need a reminder to keep running the race God has set before them.
