Harvest Hope Volunteer Days are back for the fall!

Everyone is welcome but volunteers need to be at least 11 years old. Volunteer activities may include sorting and inspecting donated food, packing emergency food boxes, organizing inventory, preparing food assistance items, and supporting other essential warehouse and pantry operations. Be sure to wear comfortable clothes for active movement and closed-toe shoes.

Urban Forestry and the Beautification of Columbia
We welcome Chris Spearen who is the Reforestation Program Coordinator for the City of Columbia. The city's urban forestry initiative reflects a long-term commitment to preserving our tree canopy to reduce urban heat, improve air quality, and lessen stormwater runoff. Columbia's dedication to urban forestry has earned it recognition as a Tree City USA for 47 consecutive years. Join us at 12 Noon in the Dining Room for lunch ($5), the presentation, and conversation. Bring a friend!
