This week, the kids learned about God’s faithfulness from the Bible story in 2 Kings 6:8-23, where Elisha reassured his worried servant that God would protect them from the surrounding army. God opened the servant's eyes to see His protective army. Preschoolers can understand that God cares for them and is always faithful. When you’re outside in the cold, remind them that just as thick coats protect us, God is always with them, helping them because He cares.

This week, your kids learned that God is trustworthy. In Exodus 13–14, Moses led the Israelites out of slavery in Egypt. When they reached the Red Sea, God proved His trustworthiness by parting the sea for them to cross. God always keeps His promises, and preschoolers can know that He is trustworthy. In the morning, promise your child you'll follow through in the evening, illustrating that while people try to keep promises, God always does.

Hello everyone!

We are excited to remind you about our special class, "Gospel for Kids," for children in kindergarten through fifth grade and their parents or guardians on February 2nd, 2025. This uplifting session will begin right after the 10:30 worship service, where we will explore the amazing "good news" of Christ, dive into baptism, celebrate the Lord's Supper, and discover practical ways to strengthen your faith.

Lunch will be provided, so please RSVP to let us know if you will join us. We can't wait to share this journey together!

This week’s Bible story from 2 Kings 4:1-7 teaches us that God is our source of peace. The prophet Elisha helped a worried widow who was burdened by a debt by miraculously providing her with an abundance of oil to sell. Through this experience, she discovered that God truly cares for her.

As feelings of worry, sadness, or anger arise this week, take a moment to pray with your kids. Ask God to help them recognize His care and peace.
