Yesterday in worship, we reflected on what it means to live with “A Love That Shapes the World.” In a time when outrage, division, and fear often seem louder than compassion, we were reminded that the love of Christ calls us to something different.

Not a weak love.
Not a passive love.
But a love that listens, shows up, forgives, comforts, and refuses to give up on people.

This week choose one relationship where it would be easier to withdraw, argue, or ignore, and instead, show up with Christ-shaped love.

Who in your life might your presence, compassion, and love?

Sometimes faith looks like building an ark before there’s a cloud in the sky. Sometimes it looks like Paul staying steady in the middle of uncertain waters. And sometimes it looks like simply choosing to praise God when life feels overwhelming.

In Genesis 6, Noah trusted God enough to keep building. In Acts 27, Paul trusted God enough to keep moving forward through the storm. And in Psalm 66, the people are reminded to bless God because He preserves life even through trials.

Faith is not pretending storms do not exist. Faith is trusting that God is still present in the middle of them.

Here’s a challenge as you move through life: Trust that God is already walking with you through whatever life brings your way.

Yesterday, we talked about what it means to follow Jesus when life feels uncertain. In a world where so much feels unclear, Jesus doesn’t always give us a map, but He gives us Himself.

This week, maybe faith looks less like having all the answers and more like taking the next step, trusting that God is already there.

Where in your life right now is God inviting you to trust Him, even if you can’t see the whole path?

Yesterday, Dr. Kim Pope-Seiberling talked about The Hearers and the Herder, and what it means to recognize the voice we’re following.

In her sermon, we’re reminded that Jesus doesn’t drive us with fear or pressure. He calls us by name. His voice is relational, gentle, and grounded in love. And the invitation is simple but not always easy to listen and to trust.

In a world full of competing voices, not all of them lead to life. But the Good Shepherd still speaks and still leads toward something good, whole, and abundant.

What voice has been shaping your decisions lately, and does it sound like the voice of the Good Shepherd?

We often fill our days with things that seem like they should make us happy, work, achievements, or distractions, but still end up feeling empty. In John 6, Jesus doesn’t give us another temporary solution. Instead, He offers Himself: “I am the bread of life.” What we truly long for isn’t more things, but a deeper relationship with Him.
One promise that stands out to me is: “whoever comes to me I will never drive away.” No matter what your week has been like or where you’ve been, you won’t be turned away. You are welcomed, accepted, and held close.
Here’s something to think about this week: What have you been turning to for satisfaction, and is it truly working?
Maybe the challenge is simple: set aside time each day to come to Christ, whether through prayer, reading Scripture, or just a quiet moment, and let Him meet you there.

Yesterday, we talked about how easy it is to miss what’s right in front of us…
even the presence of Christ walking beside us.

This week, slow down just a little.
Pay attention to the small moments,
the conversations, the interruptions,
the quiet stirrings in your heart.

They may be more than they seem.

So here’s a question for you to think about:

Where might God be showing up in your life right now,and could you be closer than you think to seeing it?

I’d love to hear what you notice this week.

Mark your calendars. We would love to see you!

The world full of noise and fear, and Psalm 34 reminds us that God still hears, still answers, and still delivers. When we turn toward Him, we don’t just survive, we become radiant with hope.

What would it look like for you today to “taste and see” that God is good?

2 My soul makes its boast in the Lord;
let the humble hear and be glad.
3 O magnify the Lord with me,
and let us exalt his name together.

4 I sought the Lord, and he answered me,
and delivered me from all my fears.
5 Look to him, and be radiant;
so your* faces shall never be ashamed.
6 This poor soul cried, and was heard by the Lord,
and was saved from every trouble.
7 The angel of the Lord encamps
around those who fear him, and delivers them.
8 O taste and see that the Lord is good;
happy are those who take refuge in him.
9 O fear the Lord, you his holy ones,
for those who fear him have no want.
