Fear has a way of convincing us that staying where we are is safer than taking the next step. Yet throughout Scripture, God rarely asks people to be fearless. Instead, God asks them to be faithful.
The disciples followed Jesus with questions, doubts, and uncertainty. They weren't fearless—they were willing. And that's often where growth begins.
This week, ask yourself: What fear is keeping me from taking the next faithful step? Is it a conversation that needs to happen, forgiveness that needs to be offered, a ministry to begin, or an invitation to extend?
The goal isn't to get rid of fear. The goal is to stop letting fear make the decisions.
As we reflected on Sunday, resurrection people don't have to be controlled by fear. The old life has died. A new life has begun. So, this week, may we fear less, follow more, and trust that Christ is already waiting for us on the other side of our obedience.
