Andrews Baptist Church has been serving the community for more than 50 years. In the beginning, we were a neighborhood church, and most of the people in the church lived nearby. We now have members coming from every part of Columbia. Some of them live near you. Andrews, we’re ordinary people who are seeking to make the most of our lives. We believe a relationship with Jesus Christ makes life bette

r. Jesus helps us move beyond the mistakes of our past, and helps prepare us for the challenges we will all face in life. We also believe being part of a church makes life better. We have other people to share the joys and challenges of life with when we are part of a community of faith.

Dear SABC Family,
When was the last time you prayed for Syria? When was the last time you gave money to take care of orphans in Northern Uganda? When was the last time you broke down upon realizing that God’s people are suffering and dying in horrible ways in many countries overseas?

I am so afraid for the American church. Our wealth has made our focus all wrong. We pray for blessings for ourselves and we forget that our blessing is so we might bless the world. WE have a new team headed to Kenya on Thursday and I thought this would be a good time to share with you Gods plan for the nations. Its from Psalm 67 and I would love for you to read it before coming. It took me 34.85 seconds to slowly read it out loud. I hope you can find the time to read it twice. 😉 Can’t wait to be with you on Sunday.

Dear St. Andrews Family,
Some of you know some of the insane risks I took in my younger years and some will have the privilege of learning about this on Sunday. I don’t think you want to miss that part. Boaz takes a pretty big risk himself. Endangering everything to make someone else whole. That’s a part of the sermon you won’t want to miss either. Oh and guess what, Jesus also gave up everything to make others whole. This good news is why we exist—you definitely don’t want to miss that.

Plus, I plan to remind you of your call to put everything at risk if it means bringing wholeness, practicing righteousness, and changing the world. You don’t want to miss any of this—it's God’s reminder and call to you. See you Sunday.
