What a small world!
Dr. Ellis is from Mount Bayou, Mississippi. He recently visited our church to support a minister from his church who was preaching during our revival services.
After the service, we had the opportunity to get acquainted. When he told me he was from Mount Bayou, I shared that I attended Coahoma Community College. He then mentioned that his father had taught there.
Immediately, I knew exactly who he was talking about! His father was my math instructor during the 1979–1980 school year. It was amazing to make that connection after all these years.
Moments like this remind us how connected our lives really are. What a blessing—and what a small world!
