Our church in Davao City, Philippines spent the day Saturday doing children’s ministry and outreach. They finished the day with a video chat Bible study from Pastor Chris Cook. The Bible study took place in their new church building. It was 6 am Missouri time and 7 pm Filipino time when Pastor Chris led the Bible study.

This is an updated picture of the church building in Davao City, Philippines after the 7.8 magnitude earthquake that hit that region on Monday. The quake was centered in General Santos City, a city of about 700,000 people southwest of Davao. Most of the damage and fatalities were in that area. Please pray for the people of the Philippines who have been affected by the earthquake.

Many of you may have heard about the earthquake that hit the southern region of the Philippines where a new church building was built with our assistance. This is the report from them:

Based on the Structural inspection Conducted after the Strong earthquake in the Davao Region,the Parkade Baptist Church Philippine Building is deemed safe and fit for continued occupancy and use.
