On April 7th we enjoyed having Brother Scott Davis minister to us. He preached from Joshua 24:1-18 with emphasis on verse 15 “……But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” He spoke of the “Impossiblity of Neutrality” and how to combat neutrality in the church. Any motorized vehicle that is in neutral does not engage any gears, you’re just rolling with it. As the body of Christ must not be neutral in our worship, in teaching the Word(don’t sugar coat the Word for the comfort of the people); to not be neutral in our openness of being Spirit-filled(people should know that we are Fire filled and operating with Power), nor to be neutral in our personal or corporate prayer lives. Daniel continued to pray to his God despite the decree of the earthly king—God’s protection was upon him. We cannot be neutral in our compassion for the lost. And we must always stand for truth & righteousness even if it costs us everything here on earth.

Thank you Brother Scott for challenging the church to not be neutral, but to engage our gears and press forward while we still have the opportunities to do so!
But as for me and my house,
will serve the Lord!
