What a powerful Easter service we had yesterday at the jail!

We are so thankful for The Church At Station Hill for coming in, bringing your choir, and leading such an incredible time of worship and preaching. God truly showed up in a special way, and these men were deeply impacted by the message of hope, resurrection, and new life.

Lives are being changed, hearts are being softened, and the Gospel is going forth behind those walls. Thank you for partnering with us and being willing to serve where it matters most.

He is risen! 🙌

Last month, 22 men inside the Maury County Jail followed the Lord in believers’ baptism!
It was an incredible day filled with volunteers, supporters, and even jail staff who came to celebrate what God is doing behind these walls. We are so thankful for every life that God is changing.

As our ministry continues to grow, we’re preparing for more baptismal services throughout the year. Right now, inmates have to be baptized in their jail uniforms, which creates challenges for the staff afterward.

We want to fix that by purchasing 55 unisex baptismal robes that we can use for all future services.
The cost is $60 per robe, and this will be a one-time investment that will serve for years to come.

🎓 Financial Peace University Graduation – Maury County Jail 🎓

Congratulations to these men for their hard work, dedication, and growth! Through Financial Peace University, they’ve taken important steps toward building a better future—one rooted in responsibility, faith, and God’s principles for stewardship.

This week at our barbecue fundraiser, we had the pleasure of honoring Brother Carl Yaglowski for his many years of faithful service. For over 30 years, Carl ministered faithfully in the jail, sharing the hope of Christ with countless men and women behind bars.

Though his health no longer allows him to continue serving inside, his impact lives on through the lives he has touched and the seeds he has sown. We are deeply thankful for his dedication, his support, and his example of faithfulness.

We were honored to present Carl with a plaque in recognition of his decades of ministry. His testimony will be shared in the comments—be sure to read it and be encouraged by his story! 👇🏼

What an incredible night at our BBQ fundraiser! Thank you to everyone who came out to support Restoration Jail Ministry.

Highlights included a powerful testimony from Scott Hardin, Chaplain Danny Castillo reading a moving letter from Jonathan Kinslow, Bubba Sanchez presenting the Malachi Dads class, updates from Chaplain David Baker and Christy Davidson on what God is doing inside the jail, and a special recognition of Carl Yaglowski for his 30+ years of faithful ministry.

And of course—the barbecue was amazing, with plenty of sides and desserts provided by our board!

It was truly a night filled with God’s presence and the reminder of our mission: Lend a hand, lift a life.

It’s not about man’s wisdom, but God’s guidance. When we follow Him, He can take what looks small or weak and use it for something great.

🎓 Job Readiness Class Graduation! 🎓
Last week, another group of men graduated from our six-week Job Readiness Class inside the Maury County Jail!

This class is designed to equip participants with the tools they need to succeed after release — from building a strong resume to learning how to find and keep legitimate employment. It’s a vital step in breaking the cycle and building a better future.

🙏 A special thank you to Bob D’Amato, who has faithfully taught this class for years. His commitment and heart for restoration have helped change countless lives.

Restoration is possible — and it starts with preparation.

Your dedication, growth, and commitment to becoming godly fathers and leaders is inspiring. We pray that what you’ve learned won’t just stay in the classroom—but be lived out in your homes, relationships, and daily walk with God.

A huge thank you to the incredible volunteers who make this class possible—your time, your hearts, and your generous provision of books and resources are changing lives!

A Special Day Behind Bars – Contact Visit Success!

Today was one of those powerful reminders of why we do what we do. We were honored to host a Contact Visit at the jail — a unique and deeply meaningful opportunity for incarcerated parents to spend time with their children in a more personal, hands-on way.

These visits aren’t just given — they’re earned through consistent commitment. Every inmate who participated had to meet strict requirements: no disciplinary write-ups and active involvement in the classes provided at the jail, such as parenting, recovery, and life skills. It’s a reward for those who are taking real steps toward growth and restoration.

Watching these individuals get to hold their children, laugh together, share a meal, and simply be present in each other’s lives was incredibly moving. Tears were shed, hearts were touched, and healing was felt.

This is what transformation looks like. This is what hope looks like.

Thank you to all our volunteers, staff, and jail officials who make moments like this possible. Please continue to pray for these families — that bonds would be strengthened and futures changed, one visit at a time.

Last week, the Malachi Dads class was started in the Maury County jail! This powerful, faith-based program helps incarcerated men become godly fathers and rebuild their families from the inside out. We’re thankful for the volunteers who are leading it and excited to see how God will use it to change lives!
