🌳 MONDAY MOTIVATION | ROOTED BEFORE WE RISE

How deeply are you rooted?

Colossians 2:6–7 reminds us to continue walking with Christ, “rooted and built up in Him.” Before a tree can rise tall and strong, it must first have deep roots. The same is true for us.

We often focus on the fruit; the growth, the success, the things others can see. But it’s the roots no one sees that support everything above the surface.

So while you’re waiting for the fruit, keep growing your roots:
🙏 Keep praying.
❤️ Keep forgiving.
🤝 Keep serving.
💕 Keep loving.
✝️ Keep pursuing Jesus.

🌱 Let’s be rooted before we rise.

What a wonderful Sunday! 💙

We had such a great time of food, fellowship, laughter, and celebration as we honored our dear friends at Columbia First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

From the very beginning, you have welcomed, encouraged, supported, and loved Cornerstone Covenant Church so well. We are incredibly grateful for the many ways you have helped us along this journey.

Thank you, friends, for all you have done for Cornerstone! Your generosity and friendship have been such a blessing. We praise God for the special bond between our church families and for all He has done and continues to do! 🙌

Monday Motivation 🌿

Haggai 2:1–9

Don’t mistake unfinished for forgotten.

In Haggai 2, the people looked at what they were rebuilding and couldn’t help but compare it to what had been before. What they saw felt smaller. Less impressive. Unfinished.

But comparison is dangerous. It can make us overlook what God is doing right now because we’re too focused on what used to be or what someone else has.

God reminded His people: “Be strong… and work. For I am with you.”

What looked unfinished wasn’t forgotten.

God was still working.
God was still present.
And God could see what was yet to come.

Maybe you’re looking at an unfinished chapter in your own life today. Don’t assume God has forgotten you simply because the work isn’t finished.

✨ The glory is yet to come.

Keep building. Keep trusting. Keep moving forward. Don’t mistake unfinished for forgotten. God sees what is yet to come.
