Faith Baptist Church is a Bible-believing church that believes God is alive and Christ can and will still save those who turn to Him for salvation. God stands with His hand stretched out to all men and so does our church.

Another Sunday Setlist, delivered straight to your timeline. 😊 This week we’ll sing a song that holds a slightly different meaning (if you’re paying attention). The song “The Blessing” is meant to be a prayer that is sung over someone else. The open lines read as a direct quote of Numbers chapter 6.

“The Lord bless you and keep you
Make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you
The Lord turn His face toward you
And give you peace”

You might be wondering… Why would we sing a song like this? We sing this song because Colossians 3:16 teaches us that one of the roles we take on as we sing on Sunday is to sing to each other! Join us this Sunday as we pray over each other (and others) in song together ❤️

This week we will sing what became known as “the love song of the Welsh revival.” ‘Here is Love Vast as the Ocean’ was written by a Welshman named William Rees in 1847 as he was inspired by the beautiful coast of his home country. 🙂

Revelation 1:5-6 says: “and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us and released us from our sins by His blood— and He has made us to be a kingdom, priests to His God and Father—to Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.”

This phrase finishes the song lyrically as well. Will you join us this Sunday as we sing of the vast love of Jesus? ❤️

Gina McLaughlin is a light in our church and is always looking for ways to encourage others. She is unapologetically herself and there is a transparency to her that is inspiring. We are so truly thankful that she sees FBC as home!

Friendly Reminder: Kids Sunday this Sunday for both Equipping Hour and Worship Service!

Bring the whole family this Memorial Day Weekend as we gather together to sing in worship and grow in the hearing of the preaching of God’s Word. What a blessing it will be to have a multi-generational experience this Sunday! 🙌🏼❤️

We also wanted to communicate in this post that we will continue to run our infant nursery during this Sunday’s services. We’ll see you and your whole family this Sunday!
