College Park Tigers Pathfinder Club The Pathfinder Club is a worldwide program organized and directed by the Youth Department of the General Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

The Pathfinder Club, or simply Pathfinders, is a department of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, which works specifically with the cultural, social and religious education of children and teens. It offers a wide range of learning experiences for young people 10 to 15 years of age (and older) and is operated by the international Seventh-day Adventist church under the direction and control of the lo

cal conference youth director. There are pathfinders all over the world. The Pathfinder emblem meaning:

The red color on the emblem represents the blood of Jesus Christ and how Pathfinders believe that he gave his life as salvation from sin. The white color represents purity, and how the objective of Pathfinders is to have the purity and righteousness of Jesus Christ in their lives. The blue color represents loyalty and how one of the objectives of the club is to be loyal to God, their parents, and their church. The gold color represents excellence and how it is a standard of measurement. The Pathfinder club has high standards to help build a strong character for the kingdom of heaven. The 3 sides of the emblem represent completeness. Completeness of the Godhead: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. It also represents the tripod of education: Mental (as done through Honors and Crafts), Physical (as done through work bees and campouts), and Spiritual (as done in witnessing and missionary activities). The shield represents protection. In the Bible, God is often called the shield of His people. The sword represents the Bible. They are in spiritual warfare against sin; their weapon is the Bible. (Ephesians 6)

🎉 What a year to celebrate! 🎉

Yesterday we held our Investiture Ceremony at College Park SDA Church, officially closing out the 2025–2026 Pathfinder year for the College Park Tigers. 🐅

This year was nothing short of remarkable — we finished 1st place at every level of PBE! 📖🏆

But the highlight of the day, and the true crown of our year, was witnessing the baptism of one of our Pathfinders. This is what it’s all about — preparing young hearts for the Kingdom. 🙌✨

🏆 Back-to-back NAD PBE First Place Champions! 🏆

Words truly cannot express the pride I have for these incredible youngsters. Team Roaring 4 Christ (R4C) has done it again back-to-back first place at the NAD Pathfinder Bible Experience! 🙌

If you've ever read the book of Isaiah, you know that is not an easy book to study, let alone memorize. These young people tackled it with faith, discipline, and excellence. Huge kudos to every single one of them. 📖✨

To our church family and every person who prayed, gave, encouraged, and showed up thank you from the bottom of my heart. This victory belongs to all of us. We did this together, and without your support, none of this would have been possible. 💛

We missed some of our members from last year’s winning team, but we will carry the legacy you left forward.

Congratulations to the College Park Tigers Pathfinders Team, Roaring 4 Christ (R4C), on your outstanding achievement of earning 1st place at the Pathfinders Bible Experience Union Level in Denver, Colorado. This remarkable accomplishment reflects not only your deep commitment to studying God’s Word but also your discipline, unity, and unwavering faith throughout the journey.

Your success is a testament to the countless hours of preparation, memorization, and prayer that each team member invested. Competing at the Union level requires excellence, perseverance, and spiritual focus - and you demonstrated all of these with distinction. You have represented your club, your church, and your community with honor and integrity.

We also extend heartfelt appreciation to the dedicated leaders, coaches, and supporters who guided and encouraged you every step of the way. Your mentorship and commitment have clearly made a lasting impact, helping to shape not only knowledgeable participants but strong spiritual leaders for the future.

To my beloved College Park Tigers - As your Pathfinder Club Director and coach, there are moments in this journey that leave me completely overwhelmed with gratitude, and today is one of them. Congratulations to our Roaring for Christ (R4C) PBE team on capturing first place in the 2026 competition!

Out of every club across the Iowa-Missouri Conference, only 5 teams earned their way to the Union Level - and we are proudly among them. That did not happen by accident. That happened because of your commitment, your discipline, and a God who honors the work you put into His Word.

I have to be transparent with you, because you deserve to know. I spent Thursday and Friday completely bedridden, and every part of me wondered if I would be able to stand alongside you when it mattered most. But God had other plans - and He always does. I showed up because there was no way I could stay away from my kids. And the moment I walked through that door and watched you compete, every ounce of weakness faded. You carried me just as much as I have ever carried you. You are my reason to keep going, and I mean that with everything in me.

The road to the Division Level will demand even more from us, but we have already proven what we are made of. With God’s grace leading the way and the heart I have watched you pour into this, I am not worried - I am expectant.

And to my Roar of Faith (ROF) team - I need you to hear this from your coach: you are winners. Full stop.

The Union Level may not be where your journey ends this season, but there is absolutely no losing when young people choose to open their Bibles and hide God’s Word in their hearts. What you have built inside of you cannot be measured by any scoreboard, and I could not be more proud of every single one of you.

To both of my teams - it is the greatest honor of my life to lead and coach you. Keep roaring for Christ. 🙏🐯

Congratulations to both College Park Tigers teams - Roaring for Christ (R4C) and Roar of Faith (ROF) - for earning First Place in the first round of PBE. This achievement reflects your commitment, discipline, teamwork, and deep dedication to studying and living God’s Word.

This Sunday, our Pathfinders walked with purpose in the Out of Darkness Walk — a 5K dedicated to su***de prevention. Every step they took was filled with meaning, remembrance, and hope. They shared how powerful it felt to be part of something bigger than themselves. So proud of their courage, compassion, and the light they carried.

Back-to-school bash to start the new Pathfinder year was another success! This year, it would not have been possible without the help of our sister club, the Sunnydale Flyers. When we got a last-minute cancellation on a bus for transport, they showed up and showed big by letting us freely use their bus. A huge thanks to our sister club.
