As our revival week concluded we had inspiring messages with Bane Angles.
Fri. - Psalm 103 - Praise the Lord and don't forget He forgives, redeems and benefits.
Sat. -Romans 12:1-2 "How the Battle is Fought" We are to be transformed by the renewing of the mind. Three enemies of our Soul= flesh, devil and the world. II Cor. 10:4-5, the battle is in the mind but we can overcome because our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit (I Cor. 6:19) We win the battle through Prayer, Knowing God's Word, and the help of the Holy Spirit.
Sun. - II Samuel 9 - David took care of Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan, honoring his covenant with his friend. We need to show abounding grace and love to others, just as Jesus/God has shown grace and love to us. We are a chosen people saved by grace - Eph. 2:8-9. We are sons and daughters of the King - call out to Abba. Rev. 9:19 - we are invited to the table to dine with the king.

We were encouraged Wed. and Thur. night with messages from Greg Sexton on "Rejoice" Wed: Phil. 3 - Paul learned to rejoice and have joy in all circumstances, even writing the book from jail. Don't let anyone or anything steal your JOY. Thur.: - Phil. 4:4-11 - We can Rejoice when we 1. Establish Unity (vs2-3), 2. Eliminate Worry (vs6) -worry is a sin but concern moves us to action. Pray in all things, write down your prayer of thanksgivings, 3. Employ New Thinking (vs8) joy comes when we change what we feed our minds., 4. Expect Results (vs9) -Joy is a process, not something that just happens.
