Over the last few years, our YouTube channel has become a wonderful tool for helping people stay connected to worship at Midway Locust Grove. Whether someone is home sick, traveling, out of town, or simply unable to be with us in person on a Sunday morning, YouTube has allowed many in our church family to continue joining us for worship.
We are grateful for that.
At the same time, several people have shared with us that they often listen to the week’s teaching while commuting, while driving on vacation, or whenever time allows during the week. They have also shared that while YouTube is helpful, it can be difficult to drag the slider to the exact point where the sermon begins when they are just trying to listen to the teaching audio.
First, we want you to know how thankful we are that people feel comfortable sharing that kind of feedback with us. That helps us. It lets us know how people are actually using the tools we have in place and helps us think through how we can better serve our church family.
Second, we want you to know that we are listening.
Because of your feedback, we are excited to let you know that Midway Locust Grove now has both Spotify and Apple Podcasts channels where you can listen to Sunday morning teachings in audio form. This should make it much easier to listen while driving, walking, traveling, or catching up during the week as time allows.
We also want to take a moment to brag on Lucy McDade, our Administrative Assistant. Once this need became clear, Lucy hopped right on it. She created the channels, uploaded the artwork, wrote descriptions, and began uploading our Sunday morning teachings. She has done a wonderful job, and we are deeply grateful for the way she continues to serve our church behind the scenes with such excellence, attention to detail, and care.
