Please keep in mind why we call today Good Friday. We realize that while Jesus’ horrible suffering and death on that cross was terrible, His death was the completion of God’s plan of salvation for all who will accept Him. Scripture tells us that the wages of sin is death, and since we also told in scripture that all have sinned, it is entirely appropriate that we all have a debt that we can never pay. However Jesus died on that cross as a sacrifice for our sins, and He rose from that grave on Easter Morning to forever defeat death, hell and the grave. I urge all of you to accept that free and full salvation that only Jesus can give!
