“The Theology of Covenant:
What Does It Mean
for the Human/Animal Relationship?”
Rev. Monica Clark-Robinson

What does it mean to honor the interdependent web of existence when that web includes the animals with whom we share the Earth? Rev. Monica will be in the pulpit for this service about our covenantal relationship with the more-than-human world. How might Unitarian Universalists live more fully into values of care, justice and mutuality for all beings?

Potluck Brunch Church at Shepard Park

Join us for church in Shepard Park next door to the church. We have the shelter reserved for a potluck brunch picnic. Please bring your potluck dishes directly to the park, and we also recommend bringing camp chairs and picnic blankets. The “service” will consist of eating, chatting, playground play, and enjoying one another’s company. There will be no online church. The rain location will be the sanctuary.

“The Unitarian Universalist Land of Oz”
Anna McAnnally

What do the 14 Wizard of Oz books have to do with surviving authoritarianism? It turns out, a whole lot! These books, and our times, invite us to consider our roles in the fight and how to continue holding hope for the future. How can children and children’s media help us hold onto optimism while learning and planning along the way?
