It’s so easy to walk through the doors on a Sunday looking for what a gathering, a message, or a community can do for us. But Jesus modeled a completely different way to live—one where we show up not to be served, but to serve.

True community and real transformation happen when we step out of the consumer mindset and step into the call of Jesus. Let’s change the narrative in our city.

“If you want to be the king of your own kingdom, that kingdom is going to crumble.”

It’s easy to treat sin like a minor stumble. But at its core, self-sovereignty is a slow trap, consuming our peace, isolating us, and binding us to things we can’t fix on our own.

The grace of the Gospel is that we don’t have to keep carrying the weight of our own empire. When we surrender our way, Jesus doesn’t just clear the slate, He brings us into a Kingdom that can’t be shaken.

Stop striving to build what was never meant to last. Choose His way over yours. 💙
