When you look at this breakdown of Jesus’ ministry in Matthew… it’s eye-opening. Nearly half of what He did was healing and miracles.

And yet today, so much of the Church has shifted from the simplicity of His method:

Teach.
Preach.
Heal.

That was how Jesus reached cities.
That was how He opened spiritually closed doors.
That was how the early church grew with unstoppable momentum.

But somewhere along the way, we replaced power with programming.
We replaced miracles with management.
We replaced Kingdom demonstration with church strategy.

Here’s the truth every believer (and especially every leader) needs to see:

Jesus’ ministry model was never meant to change.
It still works today.
And the miraculous is still God’s plan for reaching the world.

👉 Tonight at 8PM ET on Healing Talks (YouTube & Facebook) we're unpacking Matthew 9:35 and showing why Jesus’ method still opens doors, still reaches people, and still advances the Kingdom the fastest.

If you’ve ever wondered: “Are we doing ministry the way Jesus did?”
This conversation will challenge you and help you return to the simplicity and power of His blueprint.

Don’t miss it.

Our church had such a wonderful time visiting the Ark a few years ago. I’ve heard they’ve added even more to see and experience since then. Maybe it’s time we plan another trip!

Your Born Again Experience Is Liken To Jesus Immaculate Conception. Consider the parallels;

Both are miraculous events. The virgin conception of Jesus was a miracle because Mary was conceived without a human father.

Being born again is also a miracle because it is the transformation of a person's spiritual nature from being dead in sin to being alive in Christ.

Both involve the Holy Spirit. The virgin conception of Jesus was brought about by the Holy Spirit overshadowing Mary.

The overshadowing of the Holy Spirit represents the presence of God.

Being born again is also brought about by the Holy Spirit, who regenerates a person's heart and gives one a new life in Christ.

Both are necessary for salvation. Jesus said that no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born again (John 3:3). This means that being born again is essential for salvation.

Both are a new beginning. The virgin conception of Jesus marked the beginning of a new era in human history, the era of the Messiah.

Being born again marks the beginning of a new life for a person, a life that is forgiven and reconciled to God.

Question:
If God is sovereign and his promises come to pass according to his own timing, why did Jesus say to ask, believe and receive.

Answer
The concept of God's sovereignty and His promises coming to pass according to His own timing is a fundamental aspect of Christianity.

It is essential to recognize that while God is sovereign and His plans will ultimately be fulfilled, He also invites and encourages believers to pray, ask, believe, and receive certain things.

This principle is expressed in various passages in the Bible, including Jesus' teachings.

When Jesus taught about asking, believing, and receiving, it is often in the context of prayer and faith. Let's examine some relevant passages:

Matthew 7:7-8 (ESV):
"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened."

Mark 11:24 (ESV):
"Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours."

John 15:7 (ESV):
"If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you."

These passages highlight the importance of prayer, faith, and personal relationship with God.

While God is sovereign and knows all things, He also values our participation in the process. God invites us to communicate with Him, share our needs and desires, and seek His guidance.

Asking, believing, and receiving are not meant to manipulate God or bend His will to ours but rather to align our hearts with His and deepen our trust in Him.

The act of asking and receiving is not about imposing our will on God but submitting our desires to His will. Through prayer and faith, we grow in understanding God's plan, purpose, and timing for our lives.

Sometimes, God may grant our requests as we ask in accordance with His will, and other times, He may choose to answer differently or in His own timing, knowing what is best for us.

In summary, the invitation to ask, believe, and receive is an expression of God's loving and intimate relationship with His followers. It is an encouragement for believers to engage in prayer, deepen their faith, and align their desires with God's will, knowing that His sovereignty and wisdom govern all things.
