Don’t dismiss what this season is teaching you just because you wouldn’t have chosen the lesson. Some of the preparation for what you’ve prayed for may come through experiences you NEVER would have prayed for. That’s the difficult part: sometimes the preparation looks nothing like the promise.

As Apostle shared Sunday in “The Battles We Fight in Private,” there are things we fight through that nobody else knows about. But private doesn’t mean pointless. God can use those unseen battles to strengthen you, develop you and prepare you for what’s ahead. You may not understand the lesson yet, but trust that God can still use it.

So keep going. Have faith when you can’t see what’s ahead. Be courageous when the battle gets hard. Walk in obedience even when you don’t understand, and stay committed when it would be easier to quit. God is still working.

Some things aren’t on your prayer list anymore because you’re living in the answer.

Sometimes the answers to our prayers become so familiar that we forget they were once prayers, and we get used to living in what we once asked God to do.

Challenge yourself to take a moment today to look around and remember. He has been faithful.
