We had a great weekend at DYC this year. So grateful for for putting on an amazing conference!!

Our teens helped make our first Children’s Valentine’s Day Party a huge success! They assisted with crafts, danced with the kids, and taught them how to pray the rosary. The high schoolers then spent the rest of the party playing games while the littles watched a movie.

We had an amazing time at Jr High Rally this year! Our speaker, Andrew Breuggen, even talked about our patron, Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati. We are always happy to meet another Friend of Frassati!

Meet our 2024-2025 Student Leadership Team! Please pray for AJ, John, Marie, Katy, and Elijah as they lead their peers. Our Student Leadership Team consists of high school students who dedicate their time to help plan and lead youth events for our parish.

Both our high schoolers and our middle schoolers had a rosary night recently. Our high schoolers focused on the entire rosary and petitioning to Our Lady using the 54-Day Novena method. While our middle schoolers made their own pocket decades and learned how to dive deeper into praying a single decade of the rosary using scripture and meditation. And in the spirit of Frassati we presented flowers both nights to the statue of Our Lady of Oropa!

Our high school youth group has been back this fall and we are using a new study! We have been going through "Connected" from Ascension Press, which focuses on Catholic social teaching. We also have been getting a little competitive lately between 9-square, dodgeball, and uno attack. We aren't going to mention how long it took us to play just one round of uno attack. It was too long, and some of us ended up with 40+ cards! We also have been enjoying praying night prayer as a community before the end of the night.

Our youth spent time in Adoration in preparation for the coming of the infant Jesus! We had lots of hot cocoa and learned about how we can spend this season of Advent making room for Jesus in our hearts.
