Justice Ministry Update:

Our RBCC Sanctuary and Immigration Team recently made a donation to the Unitarian Universalist Church’s Rapid Response Team to support their work addressing urgent needs of our immigrant neighbors.

Rev. Dottie Mathews who helps manage the fund sends their great thanks.

Volunteer with Woodhaven:

RBCC has a long-standing relationship with Woodhaven, counting some Woodhaven individuals among our faithful members each Sunday.

Some of the Woodhaven homes are looking for help with landscaping, weeding and planting flowers to help their homes look great. If they can find volunteers, their funds will go further to support individuals by not having to pay landscapers.

Thriving Congregations Update:

Thanks to all who completed our recent congregational culture survey. We had over 30 responses, which is an excellent response rate.

The graphic below shows our results. As you can see, we feel that we (as a church) respond to risk in a hopeful way, are open to input, have a strong mission, and are implementing our mission. We think of ourselves as playful and adaptable, with connected and trusting relationships.

As we move forward with the Thriving Congregation project, we can use draw on these areas of strength to grow in other areas.Thanks for your participation and let us know if you have any questions!
