You are invited to The Chill, Sunday at 5pm in the Wheet Fellowship Hall. Bring sandwiches and salads to munch on, while we dig into God's Word. Board games and fellowship time afterwards. Childcare is provided during Bible study.

Good morning ladies! I hope your Tuesday is going great. I just wanted to thank you for your faithfulness in prayer for your prayer sister throughout this year. I know life gets crazy and busy, so it's nice to know that we have a secret prayer sister lifting us up when we may not feel like we can pray ourselves at times. A couple of Sundays ago, a sister was blessed with this gift pictured below. Unfortunately, the name was not put on the gift. If this happens to be a gift you purchased, please put a name on the bag or let Pastor Brent know and he can label it. There was a card in the bag but not filled out or labeled. To be honest, this is something I would do, but I know its not me. Haha. We would love to get this labeled before Sunday. Thanks again! -Heather

October 2nd is our Overlook Worship at the Park for CCN. We will need plenty of sides to make this a success. Danielle Keltner will be working on signups for these sides to make sure we do not have too many of one side and not enough of another. Find Danielle over the next week or two and let her know what you plan on bringing. This is a great time of fellowship and you do not want to miss this!! So much fun!

Just wanted to send out a prayer for our kiddos heading back to school. I know some started last week and some are getting ready to start.

Father God,
I pray that you would bless our children as they return to school in this new school year. I pray first for the challenges that they will be facing. May they rise to the occasion and take it all in stride. May they have a good relationship with their new teacher and learn quickly. May they get along well with all of their classmates and enjoy school.

I lift the kids who may struggle in school. Help them to be able to comprehend the teacher’s lessons and to understand the assignments. Help them to be able to figure out the math problems. May their reading skills improve. May they get the special help they need to get stay caught up in their studies. I also pray that they will receive kindness from their classmates and have several good friends. Amen.

Moms and grandmas, I love your kids and pray this over your kids today. May you have a blessed day!

Psalm 23:1–6

"God, YOU are my shepherd, I lack nothing. YOU make me lie down in green pastures, YOU lead me beside still waters, YOU restore my soul. YOU lead me in paths of righteousness for Your name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for YOU are with me!

I've always loved the 23rd Psalm because it shows how much God Himself is willing to do for us if we will just receive. I struggle with receiving. I always have. I've never felt worthy to receive anything good. If bad things came my way, I would gladly receive that because I felt it was what I deserved. Satan has lied to me and you far too long. Receive what God has to offer. There is PROVISION, REST, RESTORATION, RIGHTEOUSNESS for HIS name's sake. He's so good to us if we will only receive. - Heather

Tomorrow will be our last Bible Study Session on Joseph 😞. We are going to meet at 5:30PM in the basement. Please bring finger food items as we enjoy some fellowship before we get started on our Bible Study. Can't wait to end this Bible Study out with some social time and food! YUM! YUM! 😋
