The Meeting Place Church of Greater Columbia and its subsidiaries, TMPC Nonprofit Holdings, Inc., TMPC Job Corp, TMPC Community Corporation, and TMPC Broadcasting Corporation, share a mission to transform, equip, and empower the citizens of Columbia, South Carolina, to be a loving and productive people. To that end, we work collaboratively with agencies, municipalities, and other faith-based organizations to optimize property holdings to enhance the community through youth activities, workforce development, healthcare services, neighborhood events, and the use of our facilities for hospitable acts. Our current partnerships include Richland County Sheriff’s Department - Community Action Team (housed on our campus), FoodShare and the Arnold School of Public Health/USC (housed on our campus), Columbia’s Praise WDEK 97.9 FM/1170 AM (housed on our campus), Dentsville Kidney Center (housed on our campus) and Spotlight Cinemas Capital 8 (housed on our campus). Since 2000, we’ve stewarded partnerships to serve and educate over 30,000 constituents in District 3 of Richland County and more than 100,000 residents throughout the Midlands.
